Not sure if this is what you want but I make a cheats way for Easiyo using 1 and 1/4 cups of milk powder, 3 tablespoons of easiyo powder and 2 or 3 tablespoons of sugar (depending on how sweet you want it). Curious if you have tried any milk alternatives? After 11 hours it was thick and smooth. I let mine sit for 24 hours. Put the container of milk into the Easiyo and leave for about 10 hours, depending how tangy and how well set you like your yoghurt (the longer you leave it the tangier and better set it gets). Yoghurt can grow at up to about 50 degrees (it’s usually recommended that you cool to about 40 and try to hold it at that temperature when not using the easiyo) so that should be cool enough not to kill it off. Do we skip that bit too? I've been making easiyo using full cream milk powder for about 12 months with only one real failure - a couple of runny batches but nothing inedible (except the time I used 2 cups of powder instead of 1 1/3 - shudder).
