the things we cannot say review

Slipping between Nazi-occupied Poland and the frenetic pace of modern life, Kelly Rimmer creates an emotional and finely wrought narrative that weaves together two women’s stories into a tapestry of perseverance, loyalty, love and honor.

The Things We Cannot Say is an unshakable reminder of the devastation when truth is silenced…and how it can take a lifetime to find our voice before we learn to trust it. The Things We Cannot Say was my first book by Kelly Rimmer and it won't be my last. Both her grandmother’s and Patrick’s legacies are worth fighting for. Book Cover and author photo are credited to Amazon or an author’s (or publisher’s) website. And though there were many, my greatest takeaway is that just because we have the ability to put ourself inside a protective bubble—circle, if you will—doesn't mean we can't hurt others.

It encompasses loyalty, love, and devotion. I downloaded it at 7 PM last night and with a few hours sleep, I finished by 11 AM today.

The Things We Cannot Say is a heartbreaking, heartwarming hopeful story that explores love, loss, hardship, sacrifice and the relationships that bond people together. See 2 questions about The Things We Don't Say…, [ATY 2021] - "My Favorite Things" from Sound of Music. "The Doors We Close."
