I totally agree with the first “sleeping together” being unnecessary and super awkward. remember when she had the day off and was bored to death because she didn't know what to do, and all her friends were busy with family/kids/work, etc.?
He's always saying good job and taking her out on these adorable dates... before, she was just doing things unnoticed. One night, she woke up and went looking for her mom outside her home only to be kidnapped by a suicidal woman.

According to the flashback, they would have had to send Sung Yeon to a psychiatric hospital, OR it was likely that he would maim or even kill Young Joon (he went after him with a baseball bat!)
Young-joon and Mi-so's relationship feels kinda icky to me and I'd been wanting her to just get out of that office and go do her own thing for most of the show. In the car after the party, Young-joon remarks that Mi-so spent a long time talking to some Spanish men who were hitting on her. I'm barely half-way through this first episode but it certainly looks like it is going to be a lot of fun!

After watching the first episode, purely for quality assurance purposes... Methinks the camel's nose is already inside the tent. Yoo-shik advises everyone to take care of his health like he does, and when Young-joon says he’s too obsessive about it, he says it’s better than dying of health issues. I think it’s because he’s been afraid of women most of his life. Your username reminds me of psquare's song. If you look at mental health in this context - that it's not acceptable and it affects everyone around you, you'll understand why therapy wasn't necessarily the best alternative. I wished they'd lay off her. Basically they just run away from the problem or hide it from sight/mind.

This is exactly the point I was making, it does happen in real life, and therapy for both you and your dad would likely make your relationship with him stronger. It's mum's fault for threatening death/suicide when unable to cope. She deserves it. So I would be suspicious of people who claim their physical beauty entitles them to a rich mate, as well as those who claim their wealth/success entitles them to a very goodlooking mate.
I actually kind of liked these two.
She sees him as a valuable employment opportunity to free her of her family's debt obligations. She offers to show them a dining set popular with newlyweds, and Young-joon is all, “Well take it!” Ha. We've gotten some lovely new layers to YJ's character, which is awesome - I hope the writers give her some similar treatment in the next episodes! Also, the bus stop scene in this episode gave me serious flashbacks! I do think that their current feelings are most important, but it seems difficult to ignore everything that got them there. It is just a simple fairy tale romance kind of story with a wealthy and handsome boss falling in love with his pretty secretary.
Thank goodness her bad habit kicked in and saved him.
