Tell us about your business?
We are a mortgage broker based in Aberdeenshire and provide free mortgage and insurance advice and arrangement.
How has the pandemic impacted on your service offering?
Although we were moving towards a remote service offering pre-Covid as many clients enjoy the flexibility this brings the pandemic has meant that we and all of our clients have had to fully embrace technology. We have managed to continue with a full service since Lockdown as a result and have managed to expand our service beyond Aberdeenshire which has been a positive of this challenging situation.
Do you have any events/corporate or social coming up soon?
We continue to support a local charity AberNecessities with multiple campaigns throughout the year. Currently we are providing a Christmas Eve box for each mortgage that we arrange until 18th December 2020.
What do you have planned for your nominated charity in the future?
Our charity work will continue in 2021 supporting AberNecessities
What inspired you to set up the business?
As a mummy of 2 I was finding it increasingly difficult in my previous employed role – continually juggling childcare and of course to have that all important work/life balance. I set up the business to allow me to have a successful and rewarding career but have the flexibility that both myself and my family desperately needed. It is my aim that all of the team here enjoy that same flexibility.
