Hi i have just returned from a long weekend at Blacklands farm campsite, i was greated at reception with very helpfull staff to whom pointed out everything i needed to know, we pitched our tent and proceeded to check out the lake, now firstly they charge for fishing and its not far off what you would expect to pay for a days fishing at a dedicated fishery, however something they dont tell you is that kids run riot around the whole lake and onto the island "where i was fishing with my grandsons" dont get me wrong i love seeing kids enjoying themselves, but not when ive paid good money to fish & relax.
